The Perfect Blend – Session 14: Barriers to effective co-production
The Institute’s ever-popular virtual coffee morning, The Perfect Blend, returns in September for a session discussing the barriers to effective co-production.
The Perfect Blend is the ideal opportunity for shared learning, bringing together the Institute’s melting pot of professionals from sectors like aviation, local authorities, health, infrastructure, and planning. Take 30 minutes out of your morning to meet fellow members and consultation professionals, engage with tCI staff and associates, and talk through your challenges over a coffee.
On 20th September, we’ll be examining the increasing prominence of co-production in engagement and consultation through policy and practice, and the questions and challenges raised amongst Institute members. Common barriers for good practice include:
- Establishing shared definitions and principles of co-production
- The right environment for co-production
- Measuring outcomes and impact
- Where does co-production end?
So, what can consultors do to break down barriers to effective co-production? We want to hear your thoughts and experiences, including the actions, techniques, and methods you typically deploy.
